Laura Bejan, active for the young and the old

Thanks to the help of a very enthusiastic young woman, Luara Bejan, all the cloths from the Kledingbank Nijmegen and other goods arrived in good order at the families with more than three children. She works together with the municipality. She received from the municipality a list with families in need in the village and she sees to it that these families receive the aid.
Laura Bejan (35) finished her study for teacher but is now working in business. Her first experience with voluntary work was June 1st 2013 the international day for the child. She worked with other volunteers in “Parcul Copiilor” (the children’s park) and was dressed as a fairy figure. The joy she then saw on the children’s faces was her motivation to continue voluntary work. She not only helps children but also older people in need.
This year, 2017, she founded her own foundation; Asociatia pentru mai multa umanitate” (association for more humanity). At the moment 59 mostly young volunteers are active in this association. Together with another foundation in Germany she helps the local hospital with goods. Shoebox4Ro is gald to support Laura in her activities. We were impressed by her projects. Our goods, cloths and more have a good destination and make life a little bit more bearable for those in need for basic needs in life like food, shelter and cloths.
